Casio has just unveiled a new compact digital camera with a long zoom lens that features among other things a lithium ion battery with enough power to allow you to snap up to 1,000 photos on a single charge. The Casio Exilim EX-H30 is the name of the new camera joining the Exilim family of cameras this March.
Other than just having strong battery performance Casio has also given this camera some great imaging and video features. The EX-H30 comes with a 16.1 megapixel CCD sensor designed using Casio’s in-house sensor shifting technology which Casio claims produces more detailed images. Lens wise the EX-H30 is supplied with the a 12.5x optical zoom wide angle lens. The camera also has Casio’s EXILIM ENGINE 5.0 for image processor built-in for accurate color reproduction.
Some other features too be featured with the Exilim EX-H30 include a movie mode with up to 720p HD recording; an Easy Mode with 23 Best Shot Modes to select from including a YouTube Capture mode; Contrast Detection Auto Focus; a 3-inch (460k resolution) LCD; and support for all the major memory card formats SD, SDHC, SDXC and the new Eye-Fi (Wi-Fi enabled) memory cards.
